3-Bunk to 5-Bunk Caravan Conversion

One of our caravan renovation projects involved converting a 3-bunk setup into a 5-bunk layout, creating more sleeping space for family travel without needing a larger van.

The upgrade included adding lightweight bunk frames, improving storage space, and reworking the internal layout to better suit longer trips. A compact toilet system was also installed for added convenience while travelling.

To support off-grid camping, a 12V electrical system was fitted, along with efficient lighting and power solutions to keep the setup practical and energy-efficient on the road.

This type of renovation shows how small caravan spaces can be transformed into functional, family-friendly travel setups with the right planning and upgrades.
